In 2008 he was the soloist in the world premiere of Salvatore Sciarrino\u2019s 4 Adagi for recorder and orchestra with the Filarmonica della Scala under Daniel Harding at Milan\u2019s La Scala to wide international acclaim. Since then, Jeremias Schwarzer has appeared at leading concert halls and venues around the world, including the Prinzregententheater Munich, Radialsystem V Berlin, Biennale di Venezia, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Tokyo Opera City Hall, Harvard University, and La Monnaie Brussels, among others. As a soloist Jeremias Schwarzer has performed with the Bavarian Radio, South West German Radio and Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestras, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Bamberg Symphony, Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester, Akademie f\u00fcr Alte Musik Berlin, and the M\u00fcnchener Kammerorchester. Jeremias Schwarzer is Professor of Recorder and Contemporary Music at the Nuremberg University of Music and has held residencies and given master classes and lectures in Europe, the US, and Asia. His numerous CD releases include recordings for labels including Moeck, Neos, Wergo, HatHut, and Channel Classics.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the 2021\/22 season, Jeremias Schwarzer can be experienced with the full range of his artistic activities: After starting the season as a soloist with concerti by Vivaldi and Telemann in BR's Musica Antiqua series at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nuremberg, several new CD and film projects will be released in autumn\/winter in Europe, the USA, and Japan, including a widely acclaimed digital education project with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. In January, a new concept album around works by Giacinto Scelsi will be released in collaboration with techno-producer Stefan Goldmann. In 2021\/22, invitations for recitals and projects with new and early music will take Jeremias Schwarzer to the Gare du Nord Basel, the Recorder Festival Bad Kissingen, and the Tonhalle D\u00fcsseldorf, among others.
